About Grownz

Life admin, in stages.

Money changes shape as life does. Grownz is built on that: five stages, nine milestones, one household, in six countries.

The idea

Nobody needs every feature on day one.

A person with a first job needs to read a payslip and log what they spend. A family with a home loan needs an EMI split and a way to share numbers with a partner. Most tools show both people the same wall of features. Grownz shows each what their stage asks for and unlocks the next stage when the milestones land, with a small celebration.

Underneath is one number: passive income over expenses, the freedom ratio. Everything in Grownz either moves it or protects it.

How we work

Six things we will not compromise on.

  • Stages, not dashboards

A first payslip and a home loan are different problems. Grownz shows what your stage needs and unlocks the rest as milestones land.

  • One honest number

The freedom ratio counts only what your assets pay out. Paper gains do not move it. It is slower and it is true.

  • Scenarios, not forecasts

Scenario Lab saves nothing. Verdicts are filters. Grownz never recommends an investment or promises a return.

  • Share what you choose

Households are shared and private at the same time. The server blanks what a viewer should not see.

  • Your key, your AI

AI runs on the customer’s own Anthropic key, sealed. No upsell, no metering, nothing stored.

  • Written down

Decisions, the threat model and the data register live in the repository. The security page points at the files.

The team

Small, and early.

Grownz is in beta and is built by a small team. [PLACEHOLDER: founder story and names, C8]. We would rather show real screens and real limits than invent a customer list, which is why the customers page reads the way it does.

How it is built

Boring where it should be.

A Next.js web app, a Hono API with a published OpenAPI specification, Postgres with row-level security, and a pure calculation engine that holds money as integer minor units so nothing rounds twice. Runs on Fly.io and Supabase. The full list of providers and controls is on the security page.
