What is local

The words you use, in the numbers you use.

Grownz does not translate finance into jargon. It uses your currency, your number format and the words your bank already uses.

EMI

Equated monthly instalment. Grownz shows how much of each EMI is interest and how much is principal.

UPI

Unified Payments Interface. Accepted for Plus and Pro through Razorpay.

Lakh and crore

Amounts follow the Indian grouping, ₹1,20,000 rather than ₹120,000, because your number format follows your country.

Plus and Pro are billed in rupees through Razorpay, with cards and UPI. Grownz never sees your card or UPI details.

In design, in rupees

The redesign, in ₹ from the first screen.

The redesign is being drawn for an Indian household first: BESCOM electricity, rent on the 8th, a bike insurance renewal, and a safe-to-spend figure that already knows about all three.

  • Safe to spend this month, after rent and the loan
  • Reminders for bills, rent and renewals
  • Number format and currency follow the household
